Classically trained soprano (BS, Mannes Conservatory) and poet (MFA, The New School), Alyssa focuses on fostering the same love and appreciation of the arts in her students as she was raised with.

"Children are intrinsically creative, brilliant, and insightful. It gives me so much joy to help them discover and explore their own creativity, because I know how important it is to their childhoods and to a happy and fulfilling life."

Her musical passions lie in folk, choral, and art song. She began performing in operas at the age of seven, and has toured internationally singing choral works across Europe. She is also the founding editor of SOUND - a literary magazine on contemporary musico-poetics.
