ALIZA SOTSKY

Voice, Piano

Aliza is a teaching artist, singer, actor, and writer based in Manhattan. She has been singing and performing since the age of 3. Aliza received her Masters in Musical Theater Writing at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She also holds a bachelors degree from Brandeis University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with highest honors.

Aliza has toured nationally with children’s theaters such as the Director's Company and Pushcart Players; most notably playing the title role in “Cinderella.” She had her off-broadway debut in 2016 with "Green Card; A New Musical" at the Theater at St. Clements. 

 

As a teacher, Aliza prides herself in harnessing young children’s boundless creative energy. She has been delighting young people both as a performer and a teacher for the past decade. She creates a nurturing environment that fosters free expression. When not teaching, studying, or performing, Aliza can be found playing with her sweet dog Nelly and biking around the city.
