ALIZA SOTSKY

Voice, Piano

Aliza is a teaching artist, singer, actor, and writer based in Manhattan. She has been singing and performing since the age of 3. She is currently a Masters candidate at NYU Tisch in their Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program. Aliza holds a bachelors degree from Brandeis University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with highest honors.

 

Aliza has toured nationally with children’s theaters such as the Director's Company and Pushcart Players; most notably playing the title role in “Cinderella.” She had her off-broadway debut in 2016 with "Green Card; A New Musical" at the Theater at St. Clements. 

 

As a teacher, Aliza prides herself in harnessing young children’s boundless creative energy. She has been delighting young people both as a performer and a teacher for the past decade. She creates a nurturing environment that fosters free expression. When not teaching, studying, or performing, Aliza can be found playing with her sweet dog Nelly and biking around the city.
