Pianist and educator Gvantsa Griswold has been introduced to music at age seven by her mother. After attending the renowned Paliashvili Music School for Gifted Children in Tbilisi, Georgia, she pursued her studies at Tbilisi State Conservatory and later at Mannes School of Music in New York City. Gvantsa has performed extensively throughout the United States and Europe, including at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center of Performing Arts and SubCulture. 

Since moving to New York, teaching piano has become and intrinsic part of her life and career. Having special memories abour her own piano teachers, she fees fortunate to shar the gift of music with her students and witness their growth as people and musicians over the years. After serving on as faculty at Bronx Academy of Music, Piano School of NYC as well as serval other public and private music institutions in NYC, Gvantsa considers it a privilege to be a part of the incredible community at Tone Academy of Music.

Gvantsa is a winner of multiple international piano competitions.  Just recently she fulfilled her lifelong dream to become a Doctor of Musical Arts
