Kristen Krak is a teaching artist, actor, singer, and musician born and raised in Ohio. She began music lessons at age 4 and hasn’t stopped playing since! Kristen graduated with honors from Ohio Wesleyan University with bachelor degrees in both Theater and Psychology with a focus in early childhood development.  After graduating, Kristen toured with the Missoula Children’s Theater where she directed kids in musicals all across the country, after which she taught vocal performance for kids at a regional theater in Ohio. She then moved to New York and has performed in numerous musicals, films, and plays, often as an actor/musician. She taught music at the New York Kids Club for three years before beginning her private studio and joining Tone Academy. 

Kristen works to cultivate a warm and joyful environment for her students, and appreciates that each child brings their own incredibly unique self to their musical journey! When not teaching or performing, you can probably find Kristen bouldering at her local rock climbing gym.
