noah stoneman
Piano, PreK & Toddler

Noah Stoneman is a pianist and composer originally from London, United Kingdom. He teaches kids of all ages and abilities across New York City and has an unwavering belief in the transformative power of music education and community music-making. Noah studied the Suzuki method in his early childhood piano lessons and now uses many of these principles in his own pedagogy practice, namely the importance of patience and the emphasis of joy in playing.
Throughout his teaching, Noah prides himself in always prioritising genuine moments of creativity and authenticity above all else. He believes a healthy approach to technique is essential, but the direction of his teaching is ultimately led by the student; the music they love, and their unique musical voice, is at the heart of this creative exchange. Noah is a passionate educator because he knows that early-music making has a profoundly joyous effect on the world, and the more of it, the better.
